Thank you for your interest in having a Girls on the Run program!  Below outlines the steps that will help determine if setting up a Girls on the Run Sonoma County site is right and available for you.  Contact program coordinator Erin Devincenzi if you have any questions.

2. Review Liaison and Coach Information

3. Complete a Site Application.  Low income (or Title 1 sites) must also complete a Low Income Site Scholarship Application

4. Complete a Coach Application or Coach Renewal Application (returning coaches) 

5. Complete a Background Check.  E-mail Erin Devincenzi for the authorization code prior to registering online. 

6. Fax or Mail all three forms (Site Application, Coach Application, Background Check Authorization) TOGETHER to Girls on the Run Sonoma County by the DEADLINE:

• All NEW coaches are required to attend NEW Coach Training.  
• All head coaches are required to attend the Coach Kick-off.
• CPR and first aid is sponsored by Girls on the Run Sonoma County and is available to all head coaches.  Assistant coaches are welcome to attend on a first come first serve basis if space is available. 

There is a formal application and approval process that must be completed in order to become an approved Girls on the Run Sonoma County team. The criteria for our team selection include: budget, demographics, volunteers and participant demand. Our primary goal is to reach out to new demographics so all girls, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or financial resources can experience our life-based lessons. 

The Executive Director will notify the Site Liaison by the APPLICATION APPROVAL date if your team is approved to host a Girls on the Run or Girls on Track program.

Please understand that this process is required and unfortunately, not all site or coach applications are deemed appropriate.
